The film is based on the friendship that developed between Monroe and Colin Clark. When Clark showed Marilyn Monroe around London for a week, while she worked on the film The Princess and the Showgirl.
October 9th Michelle Williams attended the 49th annual New York Film Festival for the premiere of My Week With Marilyn at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City.
